Two years ago (!) my good friends Andy and and Grace asked me to paint some artwork for their upcoming wedding in Gordes, France. They wanted a painting of Gordes, as well as series of landmarks; some of the important places in their lives, which would be used as table settings.
The artwork was all created before Covid struck. No one expected that the wedding would be delayed by a year and a half. But finally, last week, I was able to attend their beautiful wedding. And, oh my god, it was worth the wait.
Gordes is such a beautiful location; a historical village in the south of France, sat upon a hillside, with views across the vineyards below.
