My friend and ex-studio mate, Oliver Craske, has just accomplished an incredible journey of 3 years, researching and writing a biography of Ravi Shankar. His book, Indian Sun; The Life and Music of Ravi Shankar, was published by Faber & Faber and released last month to coincide with the centenary of Shankar’s birth.

Sadly, the week long celebration at Southbank Centre was cancelled due to Covid 19, meaning that the book did not have the launch it deserved, but I am pleased to have a printed copy in my hands.

The reason why I talk about it here, is because I was invited to create some artwork for the book. And I am pleased to share them with you here.
